CCTV – Rhino poaching declines in South Africa though elephants remain at risk
In South Africa, rhino poaching levels have dropped by nearly 18-percent over the past year. However, there’s been an increase in elephant poaching. Over the years, more and more resources have been dedicated to curbing the killing of rhino for their horns. And although the strategy seems to be working, it’s coming at the expense of the country’s elephant population. CCTV’s Travers Andrews has this story and interviews Braam.
